Goat Owner Wins Top Prize at Cafepress

(OPENPRESS) February 7, 2007 -- Missouri resident, 'goatlady', pleasantly surprised that she won First Place when she entered her ' Ultimate 2007 Goat Owner's Guide and Calendar' along with 199 other Top Shopkeepers at Cafepress for the CafePress Big Idea Holiday 2006 Contest.

"This Goat Calendar is more than a just calendar, it's a necessary guide for all goat owners to have basic goat care information at their fingertips.", says the artist.

The winner was decided by total sales revenue generated in a one month time frame. The first 200 Shopkeepers to enter the contest were allowed to submit one design on one product that they considered their best selling product.

When Cafepress launched it's New Over-sized Calendar back in August 2006, GetYerGoat™ artist and goat owner jumped on the chance to let her love for her goats and determination to help others shine through as she meticulously designed this helpful guide. Beautifully illustrated, this calendar is chockful of goat information. "It's really more of a book than a calendar", she goes on to say, "I used to make these on my computer and print them out one page at a time, but it was so time consuming and hard on my printer that I quit making them a few years ago. I came up with the idea back in 1997 and as far as I know, there are no others like it."
