Sun Gazette: Neighborhood Goats Are Facing an Uncertain Future

NEW Development!

Great news!!! The Arlington Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) has granted the goats an extension until August 13th when they make their determination on our appeal. In the meanwhile, we’ll be busy gathering information and making our case to the BZA.

Fellow Goat Owners in Arlington Virginia are facing losing their precious goats due to an old planning and zoning ordinance- We need to help them by signing a petition for them to use in hearings for allowing the two Nigerian Dwarf Goats to remain on their property as their pets.

There are many many places that deem small goats such as Pygmy goats and Nigerian Dwarf goats as pets- as long as they are not being bred for profit. Please read the News Article in the Sun Gazette for Arlington Virginia and then visit the website: SaveOurGoats and sign the petition. We ONLY have until June 6th to help these people!
As fellow Goat owners we all need to act NOW!
So far, they have 194 signatures, and hope to get 1,000 in the next two weeks.
